Hi my name is Patrick McGrath
I spent a number of years as a finance lawyer in the city before joining a provincial Legal 500 firm where I became head of the corporate and banking department. I joined Bolt Burdon as a partner in 2011.
I focus on helping businesses and entrepreneurs particularly in the SME market across a number of sectors.
I have substantial experience in corporate and banking work particularly mergers and acquisitions, management buy outs and management buy ins, shareholder and investment agreements and joint ventures. I enjoy understanding my clients’ businesses and have a reputation for being commercial and pragmatic which clients appreciate - or at least they say they do!
I also act for banks, borrowers and investors in a wide range of banking and finance issues.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling and I am particularly keen on cycling regularly competing in cyclosportives!
