Lindsey Forrow

I graduated from University College London in 2004 with a 2:1 Law LLB and, (thinking I was in for a continuation of my university days) I ventured into the legal world by joining a national pub and hotel company, working in-house as a Commercial Property Paralegal. Sadly I came to realise that there were no freebies or pub visits, but I gained some excellent knowledge of the law in practice, and of working with clients.

I joined Bolt Burdon in January 2006 as a Private Client Paralegal, where I dealt with all aspects of Wills, Probate, Estate Planning and Trust work. Upon commencing my Training Contract I joined the General Commercial Litigation and Commercial Property Litigation departments for a combined seat, and subsequently moved to the Employment department for my next seat. I am due to qualify in March 2009.

Outside of work I am a competitive Irish Dancer, and regularly compete in solo competitions throughout the UK and abroad. Much to the delight (and apprehension) of my colleagues, I held an Irish Dancing workshop at work which I'm pleased to say showed definite potential for the next auditions of Riverdance. Through dancing I have made many new friends and shared some memorable experiences, the funniest of which has to be the stampede of dancers arriving en masse to the international competitions each year donning curly wigs and fake tan, and greeted by looks of disbelief from the general public.

I have a passion for food and cooking and can often be found loitering near a kitchen with my head in a recipe book. At the other end of the spectrum, I absolutely love cars and can eagerly talk Mph, Bhp and Gti to anyone who listens long enough!

I just about find time at the weekends for some rest and relaxation and habitually venture to nearby Bluewater Shopping Centre for some retail therapy.
