Stamp duty
- £0 - £60,000: None Payable
- £60,001 - £250,000: 1% of purchase price
- £250,001 - £500,000: 3% of purchase price
- £500.001 and over: 4% of purchase price
You may not have to pay stamp duty if you property falls within what is known as a "qualifying area" and if you are purchasing a property for less than £150,000.
