Hi my name is Camilla Cokell.
I am a Paralegal in the Music and Entertainment department working with Chris Phillips and Mike Shepherd. I also specialise in Intellectual Property commercial matters and related litigation.
My passion is music law and the protection and exploitation of creative works. So, if you are a songwriter, musician, band, manager, record producer or other music industry professional then I would be delighted to hear from you with any of your legal enquiries.
Having completed a Business with Law degree in 2004, I then spent five years working in both the music and recruitment industries. I worked for a large independent US record label, both here in London and Nashville. My responsibilities included the licensing of recordings as well as artist liaison. In 2009 I decided to retrain as a lawyer and I recently completed both the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in London.
Outside of work I like spending time with my friends, going to the movies and travelling when I can. I try to stay fit and healthy with the occasional game of tennis.
