Hi my name is Lucy
Looking for a new challenge I was delighted to join the residential property team at Bolt Burdon in January 2010.
I really enjoy working with clients and negotiating the best results for them in one of life’s biggest stresses – moving home. I strive to exceed my clients’ expectations all of the time, by proactively updating them at all stages of the transaction, ensuring a smooth, timely transaction and always going that extra step to deliver the result they want.
Along with sale and purchase transactions I act for clients in Transfers of Equity, lease extensions, re-mortgages, and work tailor-made to clients’ specific requirements. I recently acted for a land investment company in the registration of multiple plots of land in Surrey.
Following a classics degree at University College London and working for several years as a researcher and editor on the magazine of a renowned UK publishing house I decided to change career and studied law part-time in the evenings at the College of Law in London.
I qualified as a solicitor in 2008 having trained at a small firm in Wimbledon, where I gained valuable hands-on experience. On qualification I decided to stay on and head up the residential and commercial property and wills and probate arm of the firm.
Outside of work, I enjoy a hectic life with two boys, spending many an hour cheering them on the rugby or football pitch. A keen runner, you’ll often find me pounding the streets of Dulwich south London on a Saturday morning. I completed my first half marathon last October and hope to do more. I love skiing, walking in the Lake District, and reading.
