Hi my name is Sharmain Thomas
I joined Bolt Burdon in February 2011 as a Litigation Paralegal assisting the senior solicitors and partners in the Contentious Property, Commercial Litigation and Media Litigation Teams.
On the completion of my law degree I grasped the opportunity to work within a fast paced Central London law firm as a Paralegal. After four years worth of experience of working in the very diverse fields of Family, Employment, Commercial and Shipping law I decided to focus on Litigation because this provides the analytical challenge and a solution focused side of law that inspires me.
I also recently completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Bloomsbury.
At Bolt Burdon I am fortunate to work within an extremely talented litigation team where the strengths of each team member are used towards the common goal of exceeding the client’s expectations. I take great pleasure in the knowledge that I have assisted in resolving clients issues to their satisfaction.
When I’m not working I love to travel to places where I can sample new cuisine and soak up different cultures. I can also very often be found huddled with a good book or indulging in a spot of painting. I love music and in particular enjoy attending live music gigs, concerts, festivals and award shows.
