My name is Vicky Gower
I joined Bolt Burdon as the IT Manager in 2007, and it has gone so fast it feels like I only joined yesterday. IT is a demanding environment, keeping up with what is new, and working for a firm that is always trying to exceed its clients' expectations makes for an even faster pace.
I have always worked in the legal environment but I moved from office management into a pure IT role in 1998. I remember introducing email to my previous firm and was told that it was something that would never take off and would only ever be used to communicate between staff – that was my first experience of always thinking big, despite what everyone else says!
Outside of work I am a mum, wife, taxi driver, dog walker..... the list is endless. In what is left of my time I love walking and cycling through Epping forest, swimming, boxercise and reading mainly historical and crime novels.
