A group of 15 year six pupils from Thornhill School have just completed a five week enrichment programme at Bolt Burdon. The children spent five consecutive Friday afternoons at the leading Islington law firm’s unique offices on Upper Street.
The pupils were treated to a wide-ranging experience designed to give them a flavour of working for a successful law firm, and a more general introduction to the world of work.
The pupils not only quizzed some of the firm’s 60 staff, but also prepared for and took part in a mock trial, gaining a better understanding on how the law impacts upon everyday life. They worked with Bolt Burdon’s Marketing Manager to create posters to promote their school, which prides itself on giving children a love for learning that will last a lifetime.
Helen Beach, Partner at Bolt Burdon, said:
