Bolt Burdon finish second at a charity Dragon Boat Race

Every year staff at Bolt Burdon set themselves a challenge designed to foster team work, increase health and fitness and benefit a charity  This year the challenge was to train for and enter a Dragon Boat Race.  At the weekend the challenge was  successfully completed when our team of 20 paddlers saw off stiff competition (including from the British army)  and placed second at a dragon boat regatta on the Thames.  The event saw a total of 17 teams competing in aid of Rotary,  4 of the teams coming from regiments of the Army.

The fantastic result was no fluke though,  as the team had undergone a training schedule and tuition from the ‘Windy Panda’s” – one of London’s top dragon boat teams.

A great day was had by all and the team returned with silver medals round their necks and a huge sense of achievement after a job well done. Thoughts are already turning to what next year’s challenge could be!!
