£15,000 for the NSPCC

On Sunday 29 November 13 runners from Bolt Burdon and Bolt Burdon Kemp attempted the Florence Marathon. We had trained together since January. We have talked of running, injury, massage, pain and glory for nearly a year. On the day we were all tested – some of us very hard indeed as we struggled to keep going in spite of injury and pain. In times ranging from an amazing 4 hours 8 minutes to just under 7 hours every single one ran, walked and limped the 26.2 miles to the finish line. We will exceed our fundraising target of £15,000 for the NSPCC. I am truly proud!
