I am a Solicitor in the Employment team.
I advise both employers and employees on a range of Employment issues including all aspects of termination of employment and negotiating exits, redundancy, settlement agreements, disciplinary and grievance matters, as well as advising on restrictive covenants, contracts of employment and policies and procedures. I also advise on litigious matters including bringing and defending claims in the Employment Tribunal, litigation strategy and settlement.
I have a particular interest in discrimination, especially disability discrimination and mental health matters. I am passionate about mental wellbeing and I am a trained Peer Supporter with the charity LawCare. I am also a mentor to aspiring solicitors with the London Young Lawyers Group.
I work in Employment because I love working with people. Whether I’m supporting an employee through issues at work or exiting a business – or problem-solving and managing risk with employers, I always seek to add value whenever I am working with clients. I will aim to achieve clients’ goals efficiently, taking a practical approach when resolving issues to (try to!) take the stress out of your legal matter.
I am also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and am experienced in delivering legal training and seminars.
Outside of work, I spend lots of time with my family and friends, particularly my little sister and our little dog, Millie. I enjoy music and film, keeping fit and wining and dining (preferably in the sun!).
