I am a Solicitor in the Disputed Wills and Trusts Team.
The experience of losing a loved one is an experience like no other and is a period filled with profound sadness. This process can unfortunately on occasion be made further challenging if a dispute regarding the estate of the deceased arises.
I am aware that every client requires a tailored approach to their needs and I pride myself on offering advice in a sensitive, empathetic and detailed manner. It is extremely important to me that I manage my client’s expectations throughout and obtain a settlement that is in their best interests. I am always mindful of trying to ensure that costs are limited as far as possible whilst the most favourable outcome is achieved for my client.
I have experience in claims brought under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996. I have also worked on various matters which relate to disputes arising over Wills, Trusts and Probate. These disputes often involve acting for clients who are either bringing or defending claims against an estate on various grounds such as undue influence, testamentary capacity, lack of knowledge and approval or improper execution.
In my free time I love to keep myself physically active by regularly attending gym sessions and riding my beloved Pashley bicycle. I also like to spend time walking my dog Ollie over Hampstead Heath and meeting up with my friends.
