I am a Solicitor in our Company Commercial Team.
I advise both companies and individuals on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters and am passionate about getting to know my clients and their businesses in order to give detailed and comprehensive advice. I pride myself on my personal approach and ability to understand the commercial needs of my clients.
I have experience in a wide variety of exciting and challenging work, most notably; guiding clients through corporate finance, helping new companies through the incorporation process, ensuring compliance with the evolving data legislation, advising on the best methods for protection of intellectual property rights (and dealing with any potential disputes that arise in relation to these rights), and assisting property management companies with their corporate governance responsibilities.
Before joining Bolt Burdon in 2015 I worked within a number of legal teams for multiple NHS organisations dealing with a broad range of issues including; Data Requests, Intellectual Property, Patient and Staff Complaints, Clinical Negligence Claims and (as a Contract Manager) negotiating, drafting and managing service contracts. My background as a Contract Manager allows me to delve into the practical workings of contracts and their application on a day to day basis, and enables me to understand contracts on a practical and commercial level to ensure they are right for both businesses and individuals.
Outside of work, I can often be found at gigs or musical festivals. I enjoy a mix of music genres and am of the firm belief that you can’t beat a good film. I love exploring the globe and am always looking for new places to wander and new food to try!
