As Managing Partner of Bolt Burdon I am so proud to head up our firm of amazing people, providing solutions for our diverse mix of interesting and successful clients.
I arrived here in December 2008 to join, and later head up, the residential property team. I was delighted to become Managing Partner in 2015 and cross over into full-time management of BB.
As a lawyer I hugely enjoyed the client contact that came with helping people to buy and sell their houses – making one of the most stressful things we do in life much less so for my clients. This is something that I am absolutely passionate about and have carried forward into my leadership of BB – we are always looking for innovative, practical and commercial solutions for our clients, delivered in a way that suits their needs. We understand that clients have busy lives and we pride ourselves on going the extra mile for them.
I am also completely passionate about making sure Bolt Burdon is a great place to work for our people, where they are encouraged and inspired to be their absolute best – we were hugely ahead of the curve in creating a flexible working culture and continue to be so. I am always looking for ways to make BB even better. We encourage our staff to be as fit and healthy as possible (in body and mind) by providing free fitness and wellbeing classes as well as ensuring there is always a fresh supply of fruit in our kitchen. Above all we make sure we have some fun along the way – we work very hard but we also know how to throw a great party!
When I’m not working I have a young family and we are loving going on various adventures together. I love to ski when I can (easier said than done right now). I ran the Florence marathon some time ago with 12 colleagues and have a feeling there may be another challenge on the horizon soon!
