Matthew Hawkins

I am a leasehold reform executive in the Enfranchisement team at Bolt Burdon.
I joined Bolt Burdon as a paralegal in April 2014 initially working in the residential conveyancing team before moving to the enfranchisement team. I act for both landlord and tenant in lease extensions, right of first refusal and collective enfranchisement matters involving residential leasehold law.
I am a Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives having completed the academic side of my course in March 2017. I expect to qualify as a CILEX Fellow in Spring 2021.
Outside of work I enjoy music playing both guitar and bass, I support independent music venues by going to gigs and buying physical music. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially going out and about in my home county of Surrey for walks in the countryside.
